It is very easy to create a shadow effect of anything in photoshop.First of all, draw this shape from custom shapes.
Take another copy of this image in another layer and fill black color to it.
Transform one image by clicking Ctrl + T, and transform it to this shape by holding Ctrl key.
After that apply layer mask to the transformed layer.
Afer applying mask, you can see above shadow effect.
